Eden's Christmas Dance Showcase - Bring On The Crying

Eden had her Christmas dance showcase.

I was nervous that I was going to miss it because I had to take Georgia to an eye appointment at the hospital. I had Shannon watch Eden and get her ready to go.

Fortunately I made it back in time.

Here's her class getting ready to go on "stage."

Probably not the best idea to have Eden go out first.

She screamed "I want my daddy" yet again.

Part way through the first number we pulled her off stage and gave her a pep talk.

At least, she went back out with her class.

Then she told off her teacher.

"You don't tell me! I'm not going to dance. You can't tell me to dance. I do what I want."

And then she stood there with her arms folded.

Little miss sassy pants.

I wonder where she gets it?

Finally she decided to do her leaps.

She did really well at her "All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth" dance.
She actually danced the whole dance.

Twice!

And she did most of the dance moves.

Maybe next recital we'll either not let daddy come (to avoid the "I want my daddy") or we'll have daddy go backstage with her first and give her a pep talk.

She's quite the kid.
